Premiere: Hector Plimmer - Bossa B (Deoke Remix)

JUNE 2017

2017 has been Hector Plimmer’s year - his debut album Sunshine was released via South London label Albert’s Favourites in March with the vinyl selling out in a matter of weeks, and support coming from 6 Music, Gilles Peterson, Boiler Room and Fact Magazine, to name a few. An immediate standout was ‘Bossa B’, a deep sub bass roller replete with extraterrestrial bleeps and its eponymous Brazilian shuffle. It does not fail to get the feet stepping.

We’re delighted to bring you the exclusive premiere of Deoke’s remix of the tune. As label boss of Albert’s Favourites, Deoke, aka Dave Koor, knows the track inside out and his remix is testament to that. He’s delivered a mellow house refit, extending the original productions and adding his signature synth sounds. The result is seven minutes of pure joy, primed and ready for parties all summer long. The remix also comes alongside a proper cosmic edit by Glenn Astro...don’t sleep!

Be sure to grab the physical copy of Hector’s album. There was so much demand for it on vinyl they had to run a repress - so get yours before they go!

The Bossa B remix EP is out on 23 June via Albert's Favourites.
