The Round Up: October '16
Winter may have closed in and the days are a little shorter, but the tunes certainly didn’t stop in October. Here’s the latest offering of music we’ve been rinsing over the past month. As always, some are old and some are new, and some are rare while others you’ll probably have heard of.
Our stand-out discoveries this month include Minnie Ripperton’s Perfect Angel and the lush sounds of Beverly Glenn Copeland, who’s featured album Keyboard Fantasies is due for re-release on Invisible City Editions in the coming year. Also in the selection: Chaos in the CBD’s latest release on Rhythm Section International, Invisible Spectrum; Sumochief’s killer new EP featuring a host of hip-hop artists; Kate Tempest’s new full-length Let Them Eat Chaos; and the debut LP from LA based jazz trumpeter and composer, Josef Leimberg.
We hope you discover something that tickles your fancy.
